Together with Esri Germany, I designed a hands-on activity for visitors of the Gasometer Oberhausen for the World Ocean Day 2024 and the Gasometer's anniversary. Both times, visitors of all ages were invited to paint something on the topic of the current exhibition 'Planet Ocean' at the Gasometer on the canvases I had prepared. For each drawing, Esri Germany donated an amount to NABU.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Before the event, I sprayed the canvases with spray paint and prepared them artistically to give visitors an orientation. In this case the theme was coral reef.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I also helped the guests paint and connected all the little elements here and there. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

It was exciting to see what impressions children and adults took away from the exhibition and what came to mind about the ocean. As a result, the exhibition was re-processed and reflected upon by the visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The children were particularly impressed by the turtles and how they can get caught in fishing nets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Spongebob and his friends were the most popular subject there when it came to oceans as a topic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
