Mural created during a residency at the Mural City Festival in Scheibbs, Austria.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Every building in this mural is real. Perceptual walks were an important research method for this work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On my forays through the village, I not only get to know the place and collect buildings, objects and natural elements that are recognizable, but I also get involved with the place to get a feel for what makes it special, what colors I want to use, and how I put the picture together.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This old toilet block is in a park. Before the painting it was a rather unfriendly corner. The mural breathed more life into it. Unfortunately, they have now renovated the toilets and painted over the mural. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
